June 30th, 2008 I haven't updated my debt meter in quite sometime and it's no longer in the $13,000-range. In fact, we started off the year at $15,000 in credit card debt, so I'm betting that meter hasn't been updated since June of last year when we were battling down debts to buy a house. When we discover, as most of us do, how little our precious possessions will fetch in the marketplace we are inclined to be disillusioned, event to feel that we are being updated.
